Hello! This week I want to share my review of the L’Oreal Infallible 24HR Fresh Wear Foundation. This is a pretty new foundation from the L’Oreal Infallible line. The price of this foundation is $11.99 at Target, and you get one fluid ounce of product. I bought this foundation, because I am always looking for good, affordable foundations!
Claims
The claims of this foundation from Target’s website are that the coverage is medium to full depending on how much you apply. The finish is a natural matte, and it is supposed to last all day. It also claims to be water-proof and sweat-proof.
The L’Oreal Fresh Wear Foundation comes in 30 shades, which is great for a drug store brand. The foundation also contains SPF 25, and the bottle comes with a pump. I use the shades Porcelain 405 and Ivory 410, depending on my self tan. For primer, I recommend using one that will help your skin type. Below I will show you what the product looks like before and after applied. I will also show you what it looks like after four and 11 hours of wear.
You can see from the photos this is a medium coverage foundation. It looks natural on the skin, if you apply it with a makeup sponge it will give a subtle glow. Some of my blemishes are still showing, but nothing concealer can’t fix.
How it Wears
Below you will see what the foundation looks like after fours hour and eleven hours of wear. I did not touch up the foundation with powder or setting spray. I feel this foundation does fade a little during the day. My skin is dry, but also oily in some places, and you will see the foundation gets a tad oily throughout the day.
Swatches
Below I have compared shades 405 and 410 of the L’Oreal Fresh Wear foundation to other foundations I own. You can see the shades are better compared to the L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation. If you would like to read my review of the Pro-Matte Foundation, you can read it here.
Final Thoughts
I highly recommend this foundation for all skin types! The coverage is great, while looking natural on the skin. The foundation also comes at a great price, and has a nice shade range. It applies well with a sponge, and you can easily apply other products on top. The finish is natural, not too dewy or matte. The only negatives would be you might have to touch it up with powder, and it fades a little. If you have been on the hunt for a new foundation that won’t break the bank, you have to give this a try!
