Hello!
My name is Brooke and I have loved fashion for as long as I can remember. I was the girl in school whose clothes were always different. Sometimes in a good way, and sometimes in a bad way. I began to be very interested in fashion design my freshman year of high school. I took a textiles class, but being a perfectionist, I could never finish a project on time. What really peaked my interest in fashion design, was a project our class had to do in Theatre. We had to design costumes for a play or musical of our choice. I chose my favorite musical “Singin’ in the Rain” to design for, and found I loved designing the costumes for the different characters. When I got my first retail job in high school, I spent all of my money on clothes and shoes. Sad to say I have more responsibilities now, so I cannot always do that. I also enjoy trying new makeup and beauty products. I love finding drug store beauty products, that work just as well, or better than high end products.
In the real world, I work from home for a health care network in Indy. I am happily married, and have two cats who are handful. In my free time I like to watch reality TV, spend time with my family and friends, and shop at Target. I also enjoy baking when I can find the time, and would like to start traveling more.
I want my website to be about enjoying fashion and beauty, without having to empty your bank account. For me, it is about balancing my budget, so that I can afford the clothes and makeup I want. I am always on the lookout to save money when buying clothes and cosmetics. I also don’t see anything wrong with splurging on an item from time to time. I want to help others save money, while still looking and feeling fabulous.
